When I was doing a presentation and I was doing pretty good, and all the attention was pointed at me. Then I dropped the pen i was writing with, when I bent to pick it up i hear my pants ripping and i have a huge whole in the back of my pants. Ugh…that was embarrassing

I went to a meeting last month and it was really cold and I got sleepy and fell asleep. I got woke up at the end because I started to snore.

Last week I was on a conference call I was running, explaining my position on a hot issue for 15 minutes to two clueless callers before realizing I had dialed into the wrong call. Always double check the call in number and PIN folks. LOL I suck at meetings.

Ahh meetings? Reminds me to go to school in time, no extra talking, only focusing !! I hate meetings.

If you don’t want to suck during a school meeting, don’t try to flip on the tables. I tried to showoff once during a SADD meeting by trying to flip backward between 2 tables. Well, let’s just say, the tables flipped and I slipped! Totally embarrassing and plus there was a picture of my awful and humiliating look on my face in the school newspaper! I will never forget it!

I hate meetings that remind me of being in elementary school. I thought we mastered these skills a long time ago, folks?!

Great Website for unique ideas and strategies to help your experience very useful!

Every Friday My company has a mandatory meeting to go over production stats from the prior week. It’s always the same issues and we are always told of how we can increase our performance. Not too long ago we went into the meeting room as usual, and seen refreshments on the tables, and along with a small tiny box at every seat. We were all confused at what was happening but sat down and were anxiously awaiting for the GM to come in. He entered the room, told us that our performance had increased 23% and that we had the meetings tokeep us motivated. The small boxes were pins that said ” Thank You ” and we even got to spend the next few hours mingling with one another. Of course we talked shop and ways to be more efficient. That meeting changed the company that day! Just a little ” Praise ” can go a long way!!

It’s probably not a good idea to be the only one laughing longer than necessary at a joke. Everyone will just look at you until you stop. It happened to me, and it was quite embarassing.

Let’s keep the meeting short and simple; otherwise, most everyone will end up daydreaming within the next hour.

Please don’t repeat the same thing over an over. I got it the first time.

Every Monday we have a meeting at work. Some people show up late, some are sleepy and some bored. Sometimes people are just showing up because they are getting paid without doing anything and there are foods. I wish people understand that meetings are important for both the company and employees. Don’t suck at meeting folks! Share your ideas and listen.

We were in a leader meeting with 2 of our most respected executives. He, being almost 7 feet tall and she, being a bit over 5 feet tall. He, standing behind her and to her right. She, using arm gestures….swings a bit hard, behind herself and to the right. Unfortunately, the rest of the meeting was unproductive and humorous.

I always get stuck with the “gung ho” guy at the meeting. Yikes. Don’t be that guy. Just hate the meeting as much as everyone else.

Meetings really suck; be your own boss and suck the meeting. lol

We had our monthly meeting again and before it began, my colleague just got this new cool phone, so I tried it and accidentally played the songs on it, and it was in full volume, it was so loud, I could not get it to stop and I just stuck it on my colleague’s bag and saw all eyes on me. I was so embarrassed the entire meeting.

What I really hate is when I’m on time for work but a few people show up ungodly early and even though I’m still early, I’m scolded for being late just because I’m the last to show. I’ll show when I’m scheduled to show thank you.

Be your own boss and talk like a CEO.

Does anyone really enjoy a longggggggg drawn out meeting??? I think not. They could at least provide breakfast because my stomach really seems to growl loudest in the mornings and at very quiet meetings!!! Now, if that isn’t the most embarrassing thing, I’m not sure what is.

Just be your own boss and talk like a CEO……….

Absolutely despise meetings that last longer than an hour. Even a good detailed meeting can be covered in a half hour. It seems after an hour I feel like I have to force my eyes to stay open and it’s so embarrasing to fall asleep in a meeting. It’s sooooo obvious lol.

What I hate most about many of the meetings I attend are the people that are critical of any new idea that is brought up. Please people open your minds. Don’t just reject new ideas, but, be open and build on them. The idea may not be ready to implement, but, with your help it could lead to improvements. Just my two cents…thanks

I had forgotten it was daylight savings time and I had taken my normal 12:00 lunch break when it was already 1:00 pm. My boss thought I was skipping work to avoid the meeting when really I just forgot to reset my watch!

Every last friday of the month we have company meeting; they always serve good food; the only interesting part is eating! Listening to hours and hours make me sleepy and bored!

When I worked as a claims’ analyst for a major medical insurance company, my fellow analysts loved to call meetings with my poor supervisor just they could gripe about coworkers behind their back. These meetings were extremely negative and solved nothing. All they accomplished was the creation of bad vibes for our claims unit. I was glad to be transferred away from that group. I guess that it goes back to the old saying, “if you can’t find something nice to say, then don’t say anything at all.”
